All that is old is new again, as the industry focus of analyzing complex relationships at massive scale points back to object data modeling. Distributed, object-oriented technology has been utilized for decades to handle ‘beyond petabyte’ data volumes; as the only common representation of all metadata, object modeling is the quickest and easiest way to create a system capable of generating business value from Big and Fast Data.

This product session looks to the future of object modeling as a unique approach to information fusion. Special attention will be paid to the secret sauce of Objectivity/DB, which has shortened time-to-value for mission-critical applications around the world.

Brian Clark has nearly 40 years of software and technology experience, and was one of the early architects of Objectivity/DB. Before joining Objectivity, Brian worked at Automation Technology Products, providing leading tools in the MCAD market. Prior to that, he was with Project Management Services at International Computers Limited, one of Europe’s leading computer companies at the time. Brian holds a B.S. degree in Computer Science from Sheffield University, England.
